Call for Abstracts!

The Virtual Students' Dental Conference encourages Dental Students, Young Dentists and Postgraduate Students to submit their abstracts before the assigned deadline in order to compete with others from all around the world.
General Abstract Guidelines
​
- Dental Students, Young Dentists, and Postgraduate Students from all over the world are welcome to participate by sending an abstract that addresses scientific questions, clinical observations or primary scientific data revolving around any dental discipline.
- Abstracts should be original and must not exceed a maximum of 250 words.
- The first author listed for each abstract serves as the presenting author and as the primary contact for all correspondence regarding the abstract.
- Abstracts should be written in clear and concise English, so that reviewers are able to focus solely on the scientific merits of the submission.
- No revisions can be made after the abstract submission deadline.
Submission Procedure

- Read the Abstract Guidelines and abide with the rules required.
- Submit the Abstract before the deadline to the VSDC's Scientific Director: scientific@thegdsa.org
- Receive your confirmation email along with your Abstract ID.
- Register for the Conference in order to be eligible to compete.
- Check your inbox regularly for an acceptance email.
- Prepare the eOral Presentation according to the guidelines sent and abide with the set deadlines.
- Send all the materials requested from the Scientific Board.

- The VSDC's International Scientific Jury will evaluate the content of each abstract and make the final selection of the abstracts for presentation.
- The abstracts will be evaluated based on the originality of the idea, the materials and methods used to conduct the research, the results achieved and whether the submitter met the research objectives or not.
- The International Scientific Jury reserves the right to reject an abstract if the submitter does not comply with the guidelines listed above.
Abstract Evaluation
General Rules
​
- The presentation must cover the same material as the abstract.
- If the abstract has been selected for presentation the submitter automatically gives permission for the abstract to be published in the conference program or any post-conference announcement.
- For any withdrawals, the submitter should notify the Scientific Director in an email as soon as possible or minimum of 2 weeks prior to the event. Failure to do so may result in not being allowed to present at a future meeting.
